Mohamed Yehia
Mohamed brings over 17 years of experience in energy finance, climate investment, and sustainable development across MENA. His career began at Halliburton before a decade- long journey at BP Egypt and UK, where he led financial oversight for multi-billion-dollar upstream projects and negotiated concession agreements with EGPC/EGAS.
As Finance Director at Lekela Power, he led the financing of Egypt’s landmark 250MW wind project, managing in project finance with IFC, EBRD, and DFC. At Tadweer, as Finance & Commercial Director and Board Member, he grew the company’s valuation by 250% and captured 30% of Egypt’s waste-to-energy market.
Mohamed holds an Executive Master’s in finance from INSEAD which he completed in March 2026, is an ACCA Affiliate and IFRS Certified, and serves on the INSEAD Energy Club Board.
