Patricia Gimenez
Patricia joined Alcazar Energy in 2018 and currently serves as Environment & Social Manager. She drives the integration of sound environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into investment analysis and decision making, from deal origination, due diligence, and active asset management, through to exit.
She is responsible for managing environmental and social related aspects of our projects under development, construction and operation including the development of E&S assessments, the implementation of Project-specific QHSE management systems, and the monitoring of E&S performance across our assets. Her work contributes to enabling and preserving the long-term value of our assets and ensuring the application of best ESG international practices whilst leveraging opportunities to maximise the social and environmental benefits that our projects have the potential to bring.
Prior to joining Alcazar Energy, Patricia worked as the Global Environmental, Social and Governance Officer for The Abraaj Group and prior to that as Senior Environmental & Social Consultant for 5 Capitals and ERM in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Patricia has over 15 years of experience and holds a B.Eng. Degree in Agriculture and Environment fand a MSc. in Water Management from Spanish and UK universities.
