Maja Maćić
Maja Maćić is a seasoned renewable energy leader with over 20 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. She earned her Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, specializing in Thermal Power Engineering.
Throughout her career, Maja has held technical and managerial roles at companies such as Wind Park Plandište and MK Fintel Wind, where she managed the development and optimization of wind projects. Her expertise encompasses project planning, technical support, negotiation with contractors, and coordination with various stakeholders.
Before joining Alcazar Energy, Maja served as Country Manager at RP Global Serbia, where she established and led the Belgrade office. Her responsibilities included building the local team, identifying and evaluating project opportunities, and leading M&A processes. She also managed greenfield and brownfield developments, ensuring full bankability, and maintained open communication with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and landowners.
In January 2025, Maja assumed the role of Balkans’ Platform Head at Alcazar Energy, overseeing the development, implementation, and operation of renewable energy projects, focusing on wind, solar PV, and BESS technologies across Serbia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
